Aesthetics is the study of beauty, awe, and perception-oriented value judgments.

I have a deep interest in aesthetics, because it is a core discipline in philosophy. One of my doctoral compadres in my PhD program wrote his masters thesis on the role of aesthetics in making epistemological judgments, and it has always fascinated me.

I love film, nature, and all things beautoful. I try to find beauty where I can, because it offsets the existential angst of living in a world in which its meaning is not straightforward for any of our cultures of which I am aware.

This topic includes art theory, phenomenological aesthetics, design theory, UX/UI configuration, and the politics of beauty/ugliness.
